Competition and EU Law

Our team is renowned for its experience in competition and EU law, both from a substantive and procedural perspective, regularly providing legal advice on national and international transactions, as well as on investigations carried out by national and European competition authorities.

Our practice includes legal advice on merger control procedures before the Portuguese Competition Authority and the European Commission, monitoring of investigations and sanctioning procedures for practices restricting competition, as well as litigation before national and European courts, with particular emphasis on the private enforcement of competition law.

We also regularly provide support and advice to companies to ensure that their practices are compliant with competition law, notably drafting and reviewing commercial contracts, training and coaching teams and conducting mock investigations.
